Blair Brown is president of Equality for HER, LLC. Brown is pursuing a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in History at Louisiana State University. Brown hopes to attend Duke University Law School after graduation. Brown has been an activist in her community for many years fighting for equality on all fronts including gender, sexuality and race. With the establishment of HER, Brown hopes to provide a women’s organization that includes everyone regardless of gender identity or expression, sexuality or ethnicity. Vilien Gomez is a senior Electrical Engineering major and Digital Media Technology minor. From inflatable bounce houses to mobile applications, he has dabbed in different industries. He created a mobile application for students everywhere to use, and is currently time-consumed with his newest business venture. He spent the first 8 months of this year interning with Centerpoint Energy in Houston and Nissan North America in Tennessee. He researched in the Center of Computational and Technology under Dr. Xin Li, working with Sketal Reconstructions and Facial Remodeling. He currently researches with Dr. Wiley, from the ISDS department, on a multi-million dollar project called Big Data for Health Disparities Research. He is also an active member of the Iota Tau Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. Vilien Gomez blogs to practice his writing skills and spread awareness and knowledge on different topics.
