ASSISTANT NEWS DIRECTOR
WBRZ-TV in Baton Rouge is looking for a decisive leader who can manage the day-to-day operations of the newsroom on multiple platforms. Must be a self-starter who will be responsible for driving hard news content on newscasts, mobile and social media. Will also supervise Content Center staff and newsroom scheduling. This is an aggressive newsroom in Louisiana’s capital with all the tools, a 50-person plus staff, and investigative unit. Must be willing to work irregular hours as needed. At least five years of hands-on news management experience preferred.
Television Production Editor
WBRZ-TV is searching for a creative and organized team player to work as Production Editor. The full-time position requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience with AVID DS/HD or ADOBE/Premier and After Effects. Workload includes local retail, political campaigns, marketing, and non-broadcast projects. Editor works closely with AE’s, producers and agencies. Good benefits plus salary with some overtime.
